Liberated Bootlegs provides quality live concert recordings captured by fans of the artist. These recordings are ripped from circulating concerts in the music community. We provide these recordings in MP3 format because they are many users that cannot tell the difference between a lossless recording format such as FLAC or SHN or the space saving compresses MP3 file format. MP3s are readily accepted on all portable music devices without additional CODECs.

For those dedicated audiophiles that object to our conversion all we can say is we understand. We apologize.

We only provide the best of ‘the best’ concert recordings so 80% of the bots we receive we simply archive and will never place on the site. This is due to the quality of the recording or to the concert being incomplete, or a myriad of other reasons.

If you are an artist or an artist’s registered agent you can send us the appropriate paperwork to have their recordings removed by using our contact page. We only provide live concert recordings not officially released by the artist. Should the rights of a listed recording be owned by another entity, please provide proof of recording and we will also remove those listings.

We charge $1.25 per 100 megabyte of data to cover our server costs.  This means we can provide these concerts to the public at a great savings over commercial channels.
